Certified Laboratory Technician – CMS Confirmatory Testing

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Laboratory Technician with expertise in CMS confirmatory testing and familiarity with CLIA regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced in performing confirmatory testing in a clinical or diagnostic setting.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct confirmatory laboratory testing in compliance with CMS and CLIA guidelines
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and processing of patient specimens
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Adhere to quality control standards and participate in proficiency testing
• Maintain accurate lab records and ensure timely result reporting
• Support compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory safety protocols

Requirements:
• Valid certification as a Laboratory Technician (ASCP or equivalent)
• CMS Confirmatory Testing Certification required
• Knowledge of CLIA standards and laboratory procedures
• Minimum 2 years of clinical or diagnostic lab experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow protocols
• EMR/laboratory information system experience is a plus

Preferred Experience:
• Toxicology testing
• Urine drug screening
• Pain management or outpatient clinic environment

Location: Las Vegas, NV
Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: Based on experience and certification
