Job Summary:
The Center for Wellness and Pain Care in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This position offers an excellent work-life balance with no weekend or holiday shifts. The Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality patient-centered care, focusing on pain management and wellness strategies to improve patients’ quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive assessments, including medical history and physical exams related to pain management.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Prescribe medications and therapies within the scope of practice and regulatory guidelines.
Educate patients on pain management techniques and treatment options to enhance their well-being.
Coordinate patient care with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Stay up to date with the latest pain management treatments and best practices.
Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP)
Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Nevada
Certification in Pain Management (preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in pain medicine or a related specialty (preferred)
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
